Job description
Tronix is looking for an experienced Java Developer (Atlassian Data Center / Full-Stack) to join our team and help build, migrate, and support Atlassian Marketplace apps and DC plugins. You will work on secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions, contributing across the full SDLC—from design and implementation to production release and long-term support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications and plugins for Atlassian Data Center
- Ensure compatibility of Atlassian DC Marketplace plugins across platform releases, including legacy and new versions
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services and integrations
- Contribute to front-end development using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor applications in production-like environments
- Apply best practices in Java development, including clean code, testing, and code reviews
- Participate in system design discussions, proposing and implementing architectural improvements
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Working proficiency with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript (full-stack experience is a big plus)
- Experience across the full SDLC: design, implementation, release, and support
- Strong understanding of system design and architecture (scalability, concurrency, load balancing)
- Knowledge of security best practices (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection) and auth models (JWT, OAuth 2.0)
- Solid experience with SQL databases (indexes, query optimization, ACID, isolation levels) and familiarity with NoSQL concepts
- Experience with the Spring framework
- Nice to have: familiarity with Apache Velocity and/or Atlassian DC plugin development
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn new tools and technologies
